INDIANAPOLIS, IND., USA, 22 February 2008 – Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE: LLY) today announced that the European Medicines Agency’s (EMEA) Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) has issued a positive opinion for the centralized use of ALIMTA® (pemetrexed for injection), in the first-line treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), the most common form of lung cancer.
